HEAVY WEATHER

 ……As some like it DIRTY!!

welcome to my site. On the following pages i hope to show some of the work I do, some to my own models for my collection and some of customers models that have been sent to be weathered or detailed.

For those that may not be familiar with what the term “weathered” means in the world of modeling, I shall explain a little. Weathering is an effect used on any model when you want to make it look used or more realistic to the eye. in some cases this may be done by making hand rails etc look worn, engines dirty and with oil stains and paint work faded. But with farm models you can go much further! due to the mudy and dusty conditions they can normally be found working in.  some of the following pictures I hope show what I do.

Please remember. this is only a small hobby that I enjoy doing, It is not my full time job, I have a grounds care contracting buisnees to run as my full time job  cutting around 900 acres of grass per season along with many other related grounds care jobs, most of which I do myself. Due to this there are times when model tractors have to take a back seat, so please be patient as I would rather take my time and produce good quality work for fellow model collectors, rather than start rushing things and disapointing people.

As a new addition for 2010 I have started to produce some farming dioramas, take a look at the diorama page for details, photos and price guide
